Recently I had a chance to sit down with the Leader of the Pack, Kevin Ringstaff (CEO/Founder) of PetCloud and find out more about this new social media company (officially launching in November) that is building a whole new world for pets and Pet Parents.
PetCloud, as he describes it, is social media for your pets! Of course I had to ask, “What do you mean?” and he graciously explained further that PetCloud is an entire social media world that he is in the process of building to benefit pets and their Pet Parents. In other words, it is the FaceBook equivalent for pets. It’s for pets, all about pets and allows Pet Parents to visit too!
This is huge since we all love to post pictures and videos of our pets and our friend’s pets! And best of all, you can set up the account for your pet, in your pet’s name. It is completely their account!
So besides being able to set up a profile for Fido or Phee-Phee, share their photos and video, this new website will be able to integrate/share with your other social media accounts. This step will cut down on all the uploads and allow for a seamless sharing experience.
When you visit PetCloud, you will see that it is up and running and they are looking to do a full launch in November/December. When this happens, they plan to make the site a paid membership (club-like) site with a $20 annual fee so that they can avoid bombarding you with advertisers and they can promise your personal information is NEVER shared. But if you join them now, your membership is FREE.
