The GHSeI will feature the following areas:

1. Team & Pop-up Tournament Play- Attendees can play and compete for a chance to win various prize packages including scholarships, grants, dream trips, etc.

2. Industry-Focused Panel discussions and Workshops- These immersive experiences are designed to expose attendees to Industry professionals, chronicling the journey of their career and the pathways they took to get there. Ranging from topics like competitive gaming, shout casting, streaming, and game development to hardware/software innovation these experiences are uniquely hands on and engaging.


Hands on experiences to expand your skills and knowledge in eSports.  All workshops will be held in the Workshop Room at The Conference Center @ Georgia Piedmont Technical College.  ​Please bring your laptop. 

Workshops include:

10 am to 1130 am Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality (VR/AR) - Explore the world of augmented and virtual reality.  Develop a simple app or game and experience it using AR and VR technology.

Noon to 130 pm ​Create Your Comic Book Superhero - Are you ready to create your own comic book universe? This interactive seminar will outline the process from page to screen. Participants will learn the basic tools needed to take your story concept from development of the fictional world to visual panel styling.

2 to 330 pm ​Shout Casting 101 - Do you enjoy watching casters do their thing on Twitch, youtube, or mixer?  Well, learn about the ins and outs of shout casting and complete your first cast in this one-of-a-kind interactive experience.


3. The Technology Talent Recruitment Pipeline (TTPR) Expo (hosted by the Social Change Youth Foundation)- This exposition is designed to grant attendees a firsthand look at the industry at work, explore the business structure, and will feature some very specific activations.


Activations include:

Gamer’s University We are assembling the region’s top colleges and universities that offer degree and certification programs within the digital entertainment and tech industries.

Caster’s Corner Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy observing and interacting with the nation’s top level streamers across a variety of digital platforms.

Developer’s RowAn engaging collection of mainstream and independent developers demonstrating and playtesting the next generation of video games.

Comic Strip - An incredible collection of mainstream and independent comic book creators featuring the next generation of superheros.

Tech TownHome to the latest and greatest in technology innovation i.e. virtual and augmented reality, custom high powered computer rigs, modified liquid and air coolant delivery systems, and other technology designed to move the world into the future.

STEM+C Street - An interactive collection of hands-on interactive demonstrations that expose attendees to Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics and Computer Science (STEM+C) as well as organizations that provide STEM+C programming and outreach.


​​4. The PCX Parent & Kidz Zone (PKZ) – While the GHSeI was designed with an emphasis on middle and high school students, the PKZ was totally designed with the whole family in mind. The PKZ will feature activations for all ages.

GHSeI BACK-TO-SCHOOL SUPPLY GIVEAWAY - Partnering with Man Up Foundation, we are calling all metro-Atlanta students: come get a free backpack and school supplies at the GHSeI.  Please email PCX GO! at for donations, drop off sites, and additional information.

COSPLAY COMPETITION - eSports and cosplay go hand-in-hand.  We are excited to introduce a cosplay competition for the first time at the GHSeI, and we encourage all attendees to dress up as their favorite game, anime, and/or comic book characther.

GAMERS READ - .5k - Also new to the GHSeI, we will be featuring a .5k to encourage literacy, especially among K-5 students.  The GAMERS READ .5k (yes, .5k, which is 500 meters) will take place prior to the opening of the doors of the GHSeI.  It will begin at 8am.
